It is different from Type 2 because it causes the body to completely stop production of insulin. Type 2 diabetes is more common in older adults. It makes the body quit producing enough insulin.     Regardless of the form of diabetes, it causes you to lose the ability to effectively use sugar.     Being a diabetic means that exercise should be done daily. You want to take it slow, and never push yourself too far. You also want to be around people you know and that know your situation. Just because you are diabetic does not mean your life is over. It just means you need to exercise and eat healthy. This can keep you heading in the healthy direction.
